This year's theme was Rooted in Service, Powered by Community.

Service has always been at the heart of public works. It's the driving force behind the innovations and improvements that help our community grow, thrive, and create opportunities for people to live meaningful, connected lives.

Some of the work we do, like building roads, bridges, and other infrastructure, is easy to see and recognize. Other essential services, such as maintaining water and wastewater systems, often happen behind the scenes. Yet whether visible or unseen, every effort plays a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and quality of life of the people we serve.

Together, these contributions form the foundation of a strong community, reminding us that public works is ultimately about people-and the everyday services that help them live, work, and prosper.

The theme, "Rooted in Service, Powered by Community," speaks to the heart of our public works. It reflects the passion and purpose that inspire us to serve the community we care about. The support, trust, and connection we share with our community motivate us to go above and beyond every day.
